nabii organics - cleaner. greener. natural products.

Natasha Harris

Unfortunately today, it’s a reality that most mass-produced products we use every day for personal care, beauty, household cleaning or even storing foods are loaded with endless synthetic ingredients. When it comes to skincare, purchasing products can be complicated. With so many hard-to-pronounce ingredients in everything from our face washes to lotions and even scrubs, knowing the potential for products to absorb right into your skin is becoming an increasingly important aspect of the consumer conversation. You must be diligent in keeping an eye on what is being added to your products and how your skin reacts.

When searching for skin care products, it’s important to follow the same rules that you follow for a healthy diet: hunt for unprocessed ingredients, without any harsh chemicals. Essentially, the closer to nature the product is, the more your skin will know what to do with its beneficial ingredients and improve your skin’s overall health. Some of the products that typically cause harm contain toxic ingredients and chemical fragrances that are linked to all sorts of issues − from hormonal problems, irregular periods and infertility to allergies and even cancer.

At NaBii organics, we are serious about skincare and the ingredients that we use. While we do add fragrance oils to some of our products, we ensure that they are natural and do not contain harmful chemicals as those listed in California’s Proposition 65. The list contains a wide range of naturally occurring and synthetic chemicals that include additives or ingredients in skincare products, pesticides, common household products, food, drugs, dyes, or solvents and are added to the list if they are identified by any of the following agencies: US Environmental Protection Agency, US Food and Drug Administration, National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, the National Toxicology Program of the US Department of Health and Human Services, and the World Health Organization’s International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) as causing cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
